Well, the verdict is out...and we've decided that we LOVE having chickens in our backyard! They are so much fun! Our backyard will never be dull as long as they are around. My goodness! We can get lost for hours watching them. They have started to come running when we call. And when they run, you can't help buy laugh...it's a bit ridiculous!

A few updates...they are still in the house and still in my sewing room. However, with warmer temps, we've found that having a window cracked and changing their bedding every 2-3 days really helps with the smell. After a thorough dusting this past weekend, I also feel a little better about the amount of dust they stir up. The beautiful weather we've had this week has also allowed them to be outside for rather extended periods of time, which is lovely for everyone! The coop construction has not officially started...but it will...soon...
