The ladies are still growing big and strong! We had our ceremonial wing-clipping last Sunday, which went surprisingly well and was surprisingly easy! The hardest part was catching them! Now, they are no longer able to accidentally fly over the fence, for which we are all grateful.

As we watch them grow, we are becoming more and more excited about the day when we first find an egg! It will be a glorious day, indeed! We are hoping that the next 3-5 weeks will bring such excitement to our house. Until then, though, we are enjoying their antics, trying to remind them that they like it when we hold them, attempting to have a garden and occasional free-range chickens coexist, and cleaning poop off our deck and shoes. It's a glamorous life, this one we live, and we enjoy it so, so much!
